this morning the gtffs lead negotiator, Amber Cooper, went to sleep at 4.30am. she and her team have been working tirelessly to get gtfs a fair contract so that we graduate students can continue to teach classes, grade papers, and help our undergrads navigate college. amber asked us to deliver the bodies to the picket lines to show the uo administration we mean business. this shit is no joke. we know were the wedge that admin will use to justify balking at the table at its next two bargaining sessions with the faculty union and classified staff. so if you care about organized labor, if you care about public universities where *most* people can afford to send their kids, and you care about the quality of future researchers and professors, you will get your tuchus down to the uo and join us on the line! i will be on the picket line from 7.50am to 10.00am at the ford alumni ctr. and again from 2pm to 4pm. i ps - i never had hair that big when this song came out!
