…this was just too cool not to share: Phil Lynott, solo, singing and telling stories behind the songs of the Johnny the Fox album…Playing music is about two things, and two things only: your heart and being honest. This guy was all heart, and I believed everything he said, because he was honest and wore his heart on his sleeve. Thats what makes you a rock star, having the courage to take chances, and being fearless to open yourself up for other people to see. He also looked like a rock star, which helps. Times change, and the things people like change, and thats something you have to accept as being inevitable. However, people used to like the rock n roll music because of the words (im a guitar player, and even i know that), and he was a great story teller, and had such an incredible voice. I thought so much of him, i gave him a quarter of my right arm. Very cool to see a very rare performance of one of my favorite Lizzy songs borderline.
