[Rescue Case] Genesis On the 21st of August evening, we received a report post from Penny Ing C at S.O.S Kuching FB group on an injured dog located at Taman Genesis with photo attached. Due to lack of manpower on that evening, we can’t dispatch for immediate rescue but was schedule for rescue on 23rd August morning and informed Ms.Penny. Several advise was given to her at the same time to get more information. Thankfully she was very cooperative and willing to standby to assist during the rescue. Upon our arrival, we found out that the wound at the back of the body was terribly bad; It a HUGE hole! and was infected with maggots. We then brought the dog for further treatment at our panel vet. After diagnose by the doctor; it appears there is no any other serious disease aside from the infected wound. Necessary medication applied,maggots been removed and cleansing of the wound. After the treatment been done, she she got spayed. Great news, Penny Ing agreed to foster “Genesis” at her house until her wound is fully recover! We would like to Thank Penny and the neighborhood of Taman Genesis Kuching for showing the care and concern towards “Genesis” although she is just a stray. This sets a very good example for the rest of the neighborhood and hopefully, more people would learn to accept and concerned on strays around their neighborhood. Always remember, strays only occupies a small space at your neighborhood. You don’t love them but just don’t hate them. They did nothing wrong and they deserve to have a place call home too.
