this year... wow... what a blurry, fuzzy, messy, tragic deal that turned out to be. it contained a lot of firsts and a lot of lasts. it had a few hellos, and many many goodbyes. it had possibilities of promise which mostly turned into disappointments. it had me doing things i said i never would and stopping things i said i wouldnt. it took things from me i never intended to lose and gave me things i never wanted. it surprised me and shocked me. it smiled warmly on me the days i was crying and showered me with its tears on the days i found peace. it made me remember things i wanted to forget and made me forget things i hoped to always remember. it made me feel when i was numb and made me numb when i was feeling. this year ... wow ... what a blurry, fuzzy, messy, tragic deal that turned out to be.
