time for a side-story Kaara sat in her hover chair and leaned back, giving a sigh of reliefe as her legs clinked together and let of weight. She watched Jordan chop wood with an axe and smiled. Jordan, lets get some food in the city, yes? Kaara asked to Jordan. Jordan wiped his brow and the grit from the wood on his hands onto his shirt, nodding happily. Sure, love. Lets get some food. Kaara kept in step with Jordan, hugging his arm tightly as they walked past food markets. Jordan waved to some Ceolans working on grilling some fish-looking creatures, but they turned away in disgust. Jordan smiled on through and simply continued on. Kaara spotted the kind of food she wanted, Corakon and Prefregs. She walked over to the clerk and said, May I have four prefregs and five corakons? The clerk waved her off because she was with Jordan. Kaara frowned and turned to Jordan who was inspecting some of the fruits there. Kaara tugged on his shirt and shook her head, starting to walk away. Jordan came up with a brilliant idea, though, and walked to the clerk. Porsovi ani corakun? How much are these? Jordan asked to the Ceolan. The Ceolan put her hand and replied, Cossa. En brodenti cossa. You cannot buy this, I do not like you and you are bad for business. Go away. Jordan turned and shrugged to Kaara, holding her hand and walking off. Jordan saw a rather elder Ceolan having trouble getting up from his seat. Jordan came over and helped the old Ceolan up. Profun. Chesha chekani, Cjareskia. he said in his native tongue. Jordan smiled and kept walking with Kaara to their house. Kaara heard a shriek of terror and looked up, seeing debris falling around her. She quickly evaded and heard the scream again. Someone was in trouble and was falling from the roof! Kaara reached to alert Jordan if he hadnt already seen, but she saw that he had already taken off inside. Jordan sprinted as fast as he could and kicked down the door with so much force, it hit the other wall and broke through. He saw the broken balcony and jumped to it, grabbing the young females hand just in time. Jordan struggled to keep her held on, and she started to slip from his sweaty palms. Kaara looked upa nd gasped as memories of Saaer flashed through her mind. Kaara screamed up, DONT LET HER FALL! and covered her mouth. Dont fall... she whispered under her breath. Jordan had to hold on with one hand to keep himself from slipping off the balcony, as he had nothing to hold with his feet or legs. He looked down at the panicking Ceolan he held onto for dear life, their eyes locking on. He nodded to her and she nodded back, Jordan swinging his arm and yelling as his arm dislocated and hung loose. The young female cringed as she heard this, but thrust herself upwards onto the balcony, spinning as soon as she landed to grab Jordan, but only saw the trail of dust that he left as he fell. Jordan spun through the air, seeing ground, then sky, and reached out with his one good arm to grab something, anything. Kaara shrieked as she watched him fall, knowing she could do nothing to stop his doom. Jordan balanced himself out and fell in slow motion, seeing all the horrified faces of the Ceolans as they looked onto his fall. Jordan smiled through his tears and remembered all the good that came from the day. He woke up, he was loved, he helped Ceolans through the day, and what did he get? Anger, disgrace, nothing in return but negative emotions. Jordan prepared himself for the impact and braced himself.
