tl; dr; Reminder for some folks who might need reminding: MY MANIFESTO 1. While I am a white, hetero female, that does not dictate the full sum of who and what I am. 2. While I am friends with people from all walks of life, this does not dictate the full sum of who and what I am. 3. While I might not necessarily understand or even agree with everyones point of view, I have enough RESPECT to keep my contrary thoughts to myself, because part of MY definition of friendship hinges very heavily and directly on harmony and loyalty, and to argue for the sake of arguing, when we might have philosophical differences, IMHO, that does not constitute harmony. If you have a problem with any of the above? Keep that shit to yourself. SRSLY & EOS. I am not your bright shining example of a teachable moment, and I will not be put in a position privately or publicly on a social networking site, to justify to you or anyone how I live my life. And multiply that ELEVENTYBILLION if the only interaction or socialization you have had with me has been to call out my white privilege, question with whom I am friends, call me an asshole about the food I eat, etc, consider yourself culled from the herd. Nice knowing you, while it lasted. I treat everyone with respect or kindness (even if its with silence). I try pretty darned hard NOT to interfere with anyone elses joy. My bottom line is, I will neither abide cruelty, rudeness, nor stupidity; but especially I will not abide someone interfering with my joy. My dad always said, dont go away mad, just go away.
