today had a huge revelation. I went home for a quick break. simple enough. Then I realized my house was very cold (we have yet to turn on the heat) so I turned it on for today to bring the temp up to a nice 67 degrees. Then I made lunch. Watched a quick bit of TV, then left to back to work the rest of the day. Solid, right? But on the way back to work, it hit me. Im blessed beyond belief to be able to go to a home, turn on the HEAT, and EAT at will. There are PLENTY of people here in Salisbury who DO NOT have that luxury and its supposed to be a cold winter. Im not okay with that. So heres whats going to happen. Havas Athlete Academy is starting the HEAT/FEED A HOME project starting next month. Starting in December, one to two deserving household(s) will have either a $200 grocery shopping spree or their heat/electric bill paid for that month by HAA. BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP. Please share and spread this status and have people get in touch with me to find families or households deserving of this! I will choose one to two families that will get a surprise this winter. No one deserves to be without food or heat this winter, so heres to making a change in #SBY! SHARE AND SPREAD THE WORD!
