today we brought my dearest grandmother to her final resting place. this was by far the hardest thing that has ever happened to me. it is weird to think that she is not here anymore. it feels lonely, barren, and unimaginable. Christmass wont be as joyful, thanksgivings i wont be as thankful, and from here on out i wont be the same. i know Im just a grand kid , but to me mawmaw felt like my best friend. and without her here nothing will feel the same as before. see she is like the glue for this family , she holds everyone together and brightens anyones day up. i just hope that now that she is with our heavenly father, we dont forget what it means to stick together. we will have to mend the empty spaces where mawmaw was, but with all the love we have in this family it can be done and it will be done. this disease took a big toll on mawmaw as i was one to witness it amongst others. this disease took a lot away from mawmaw. but i guarantee one thing it did not take. it did not take the memories we have and the plenty memories that we will make. these past two days were very unimaginable and it took every effort from me to get through them but i did. and i want to thank everyone that came and i especially want to thank Joline Trahan for making mawmaw look so beautiful and marvelous. no one could have done it any better than you. and i want to thank my best friend Melissa Lewis for sticking by my side through this because i definitely could not do it alone. and i want to thank the man upstairs for giving me the time with mawmaw that i had . it was the best and i will miss you so much mawmaw words cannot describe but i know you are so much happier up there than you were down here. you have every bit of your memory and you are as healthy as a horse. but i will still miss you. and i cant wait til the day that we meet again. i love and miss you already mawmaw! -forever and always
