They are easily distinguished by their dress sense if look is not: women in Saree and men in office wear, some strangely with blazers on, with their laptop backpack strapped fully over their back. At lunch, pop over to the canteen at the Icon building and you will be forgiven if you think you are in Serangoon Road! No wonder the Northern Indian stall is doing a roaring business with long queue snaking around it despite its hefty charges , and so is the Komala fast food outlet opposite the canteen! Any local will feel like a foreigner there! At 5pm, you will see hordes of them streaming out towards the MRT station. Some are very young, seemingly at an age when our young Singaporean sons are out in the field charging up hills, serving out their NS! Is this what we deserve in this land of ours? This is the poser for the 60.1% daft!
