van update. firstly, i want to say thank you again to everyone whos posted about our stolen van & offered to help. your support, compassion & generosity of spirit has made an otherwise demoralizing experience strangely uplifting. thank you for that. secondly, the police have located the van. bummed to say that pretty much everything was stolen. were doing what we can to replace the missing equipment & sort things so that were ready to play again in a few weeks. many of you have offered to help us with the gear -- we appreciate that sentiment immensely, but ask that if you want to help, come check a show next time were in your town. lastly, van/gear theft is not unique to us -- its something that many of our musician friends have dealt with as well. i know people have all kinds of reasons for doing all kinds of things, but if this experience has shown me anything, its that one destructive act is easily outweighed by innumerable gestures of kindness & generosity. so, thank you again. nich & i look forward to seeing you soon. xx k
