[ via @DOST_PAGASA ] WEATHER ADVISORY NO.3 For: Low Pressure Area (LPA) Issued at: 11:00 AM, 05 August 2013 At 10 am today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was 150 km North of Puerto Princesa City (11.2˚N, 118.5˚E) and is embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). These weather systems are expected to bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms in MIMAROPA, Visayas and Mindanao which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Central Luzon, CALABARZON and Bicol Region will experience light to moderate rains becoming heavy during thunderstorms. Residents in the areas to be affected are advised to take all the necessary precautionary measures. The next update will be incorporated in the public weather forecast at 5:00 pm today while the next advisory will be issued at 11:00 am tomorrow.
