...visited the home of a sick child. Ken is a 15 year old boy with brain tumor and hydrocephalus. He has suffered TB meningitis when he was a toddler and has been on anti-seizure medications since then. Now, he is suffering from hepato-renal complications; but maintains such a pleasant attitude that brought us so much encouragement. Due to the risks associated with his multi-system problems, the family has chosen to forego any further treatment such as dialysis and VP shunt replacement. His mothers only wish is to see her son happy and today we are so blessed, that in our own little way, we have brought cheer to their home. NCFers sang carols for him and gave his family a simple Christmas gift. We were so blessed to listen to his mothers testimony about how God has sustained them, physically, emotionally and financially all these years. We also had a mini-lecture from Maam Robeanna Diesto and had the chance to do some assessment.
