Bit cheeky I know, but if any of you or your other halves are keeping that obligatory hoard of spare wood tucked down the side of the shed or in the back of the garage, PLEASE PLEASE have a look to see if you have a sheet of plywood (minimum size 48 x 36 inches) you might be able to spare. Homeless Hounds, a stray/abandoned dog rehoming charity based in Lancashire have recently moved properties and need to make a new sign outside the kennels to promote the work they do. As you can imagine at this time of year, funds are very stretched, so sourcing this material at low or no cost would enable them to retain more funds to support the dogs in their care.
