was sweeping out the greenhouse and found this little one that had apparently been under the flooring. no mama, no other babies in the green house or nearby at our place. not sure how it got there, or how long it has been there. it came out and sat in the garden in the sun. we looked at where it came from and found nothing else. it has a wheeze, and its eyes were gooped shut so it has not been bathed properly by mama kat in a while. crud was thick around its nose and in its little ears. we cleaned it up a bit and gave it salt water and sugar water and will alternate that for a few days until it gains a little strength. wobbly but it has a few teeth coming in. guessing 3-4 weeks? about the same size as my hand if not a little smaller. called the cow doctor lol and will take it in to visit in a coupla weeks. til then wash hands before and after handling the new guy JIK. got the diet lineup to hand feed. looks like we will keep her/him. (not sure what it is yet. LOL. ask KLINGER how good we are at telling whether a kitten is a boy or a girl. hahaha.) any name ideas? it kinda blew in with last nights storm. xoxo
