watching a show on racism(America with Jorge Ramos), and how there is a scary trend that it is increasing. Hate groups. Specifically they are speaking with a young man who believes in separation of the races. He speaks of white pride and feels he is better than blacks, jews, gays, you name it. Basically anyone who is different from him. When I think about how I feel about animal rights, this really resonates. Because it is that sense of superiority that so many humans have, that also allows one species to feel that all the others are there to exploit. we call it speciesism. Compassion towards all is a much better philosophy. dont you think.
