....we fought a good battle....we stood for what we set out to....we maintained a clean campaign....we kept in our minds that at the end of it all we must have an organisation....we continued to smile.....we continued to love our colleagues and competitors....we are grateful for all those who stood for elections for they displayed their undying love for the Botswana National Youth Council, we profoundly thank all contestants for they above all want what is best in favour of the organisation,they all have ambitions and aspirations about the BNYC and they had wanted to execute, but as it is always the case, democracy took its curved path....in its purest form....on behalf of my team led by; Ishmael Baba Opelokgale I sincerely thank all those District Youth Councils and Affiliates who offered us their votes, I thank all those who supported us and advised us throughout, I thank all our foot soldiers, I thank the lobby list; Ishmael Baba Opelokgale, Nametso Sephiri, Lesedi Dintwe, Lydia Manthe, Rancheke, Rancheke, Mpho Lesetedi, Rapelang Motlogelwa. A special thank you to;Kast of Kast Foundation.....you are a STALLION indeed....Many thanks also to my man Desperado.....the silent machine....special thanks also to Vuyisile Otukile for telling us off whenever a need arouse....that helped this journey....it kept our morals and ethics bold, clear and checked....its been a journey full of lessons, education, awareness and pride....with our heads still held high and intact we remain TEAM PROGRESS....above all we congratulate Team Sibanda for attaining the three executive posts including the chairpersonship....all the best bagarona....we are hopeful and within our dreams that you shall serve this organisation to your ability.....we shout out once more to TEAM GOBE TAZIBA....our friends whom we remained close through out the campaign despite the fact that we were on separate teams.....that you were a subsidiary and remain a subsidiary of TEAM PROGRESS is difficult not to swallow....its actually delicious to swallow....well done friends....many thanks to all of you who contested without teams.....MY MAN PELO.....that was a good fight you put out there....it is now upon all of us to get together again....to unite once more in favour of the organisation....to support Benedice Louis Sibanda in his chairpersonship to ensure relevance and focus is within reach in our favour as the BNYC....lets shake off the dust and direct our energies to all that is positive and move on....the can only be one winner and in this case it is my friend Louis Benedice Sibanda....congrats oncemore our incoming board chairperson....there are many others who contributed in various ways that I might have not necessarily mentioned by name....it is simply because it is written in my heart and in the hearts of TEAM PROGRESS....we love you all....! Keep smiling! Remember always the notion on MEEKNESS!
