we lost close to 3-thousand in nyc 13 years ago. but thats not the total death toll. since then we lost 70 more firefighters and 60 nyc cops to sept 11th illneses. close to 3-thousand first responders and Tribeca residents have since been diagnosed with cancer. and the number grows higher each day. 800 fdnyers have since fallen ill along with 550 nypders. congress MUST pass an extension of the Zadroga bill to pay for their health . asbestos cancer can take 30 years (!!!) to surface. we cannot forget the brave who worked on the pile 13 years ago. we owe them.
