we usually hear i know many people, but i have few friends but dont understand. truth is, theres a very fine line between a friend and somebody you know. there are some people who we take as the latter but are actually the former, and those who we think are the latter but turn out to be the former. how? heres how… youve known the person for a long time, and thus you value their company, their opinion and persona. but, the vice versa is absent. you get nothing but criticism, disdain and blame. when youre down and out, youre down and out, it dont concern them. yet, you take your time and check up on them, advice them, try to get through to them and stuff. the favours are one sided,no return. thats somebody you know, they dont deserve the title friend. wed have to go back to the definition of friend, and seriously look at who fits the describtion. very few. then theres somebody you know, you have simple conversations with them, the hi-hi-have a nice day-how was your day texts. but, this person sees an un-you facebook status, right there you get a whatsapp message askin whassup. when you got problems or needs, you go to them. and when theyre in need, at first you just help outta shyness that they helped you but later do it wholeheartedly cause they deserve it. yeah! you and the person click on so many levels, like youre siblings. you give an ear, you get an ear. you need to them to hear, theyre here. even though your beliefs may differ and stuff, theres mutual respect like the differences exist not. aaaaaah … can we ever fully describe a friend?! anyway, this person you think you know only, turns out to be deserving of friend than most you grew up with. sometimes, one must just sit down, discuss with oneself on who deserves their trouble. one-way traffic relationships are painful. another thing, do not (try to) have a big circle of friends, a few who are worthy of the title will do. trust me! you should love them all, but only a few deserve your compassion. #GoodEvening! #MuchObieLove!
