we were so happy to see you when you first visit us here in our humble abode, and that was when you had the chance to send your beloved sis off to Switzerland. Anne requested for a masseuse to relieve the stress off your body and Kyle pampered you with foot spa after. your face was beaming with joy but had a sad expression when you were informed that you had to leave for Bacolod sooner than expected and that sad cloud disappeared when your first apo asked you to come back with us for a vacation. almost 2 weeks after you went home, you asked for us to meet you at the airport and reasoned that its your early vacation here with us. we knew that youre already in and out of the hospital and that your stay here was for your recuperation. Kyle was so elated and discussed with you places where hell take you, that was also in time for Kyles first communion. were happy to hear your request for foods that you want to eat (as long as theyre within your diet) and even cooked for us, meals cooked with your own distinct flavor. we saw the joy in you, though you kept thinking of your little apos back in bacolod. just when we thought that your body is well on its way to heal, thats when the pain came back. along the course of your stay here, you spent 3 separate nights on a hospital. we stayed beside you and had to try hard in keeping a hardened sturdy expressions in our faces just to urge you to fight back. Unlike Anne and Kyle, who by nature are so caring and gentle that they often cant help but show you the worried looks in their faces, i kept a hardened composure and pushed you to fight back. Damn! judging by your replies, you were still able to know that deep inside of us, i/we am/are weak in front you. in pain and at times grimacing, somehow you managed to show us your support...watched Annes games...twas even the first and may be the last time you watched me play a game (i was so F&$%$#% upset not able to show off)...talked endlessly with Kyle every night, hear him brag...thinking out loud your thoughts and how you missed your sis, your apos, your children (with high hopes for Harry and Rani to his kids). im grateful that during your stay with us, we were able to catch up on years when i was away (talked about gossips, people... :)), gave Kyle advice to whatever both of you talked about, taught Anne tips (w/c i dont have a clue as to what...we knew then how you tried hard to suppress the pain and not let us see how your body has weakened. yesterday morning, after receiving a message bluntly stating that youre gone, the 3 of us cried uncontrollably, shaken by the news since the last we heard was that youre already ok...damn the distance between us...after regaining composure, we prayed and silently thanked God for keeping you out of your misery, letting you join Nanay, Tatay, Papa and other persons you may have known in your life...frined call you Manang, Friend, Ners, Leone...people who loves you call you Sis, Tita, Oma....Mama, ill never forget how you said goodbye to our home when i drove you to the airport and you looked at me driving away...along with everyone and us your family, we love and thank you for everything MAMA...surely, we will miss you...w/ your eldest Apos request, well offer a prayer for you and the courage to see you tomorrow, said our goodbyes to you on Sunday...
