I am among the ranks of men who lost their heads because they refused to denounce what they believed. I AM A CHRISTIAN. My predecessors stood with courage before Kings and Queens that opposed them, were tossed into arenas to be torn apart by lions before enemies that mocked them, were alienated from their homes by parents that rejected them. I AM A CHRISTIAN. I believe that there is one God and that He is in the form of three persons: The Creator Father, Jesus Christ His Son and the powerful personal presence of the Holy Spirit. I AM A CHRISTIAN. I believe the entire Bible is the very words of God to which my life is to be conformed and I will not seek to make it conform to my life. I AM A CHRISTIAN. I am not perfect, nor am I proud, but I am loved by God and saved by grace and because of that I will do my best to serve. I AM A CHRISTIAN. I strive to love all people no matter who they are or what they do, even if sometimes I am not that good at it. I AM A CHRISTIAN. I have made a commitment to a God that I cannot see with my eyes, but One that I can hear with my heart. I trust in a work that made no human sense, but by faith believe that it makes eternal sense. I AM A CHRISTIAN. I am a member of the group that has stood and prayed and bled and died. I am among a people who refused to bend a knee to this world and to the demands of its rulers. I AM A CHRISTIAN. I believe it costs me something. I AM A CHRISTIAN - and I do not take that lightly. God help me!
