well, i dont know what to say about this. i dont see race. i see gender as the difference between humans. one time, downtown toronto, i was talking to a man, who identified himself as iranian. (yes, i randomly talk to strangers all over the place. so what. it is fun and interesting.) anyway, after talking for almost half an hour he referred to me as a white woman, and that i was unusual in my way of thinking. i was surprised because i dont self identify as a white woman. i identify as a woman. i identify as a human and an earthling and a woman. i dont see anything wrong or special or unusual about that. (just reading some articles on everyday feminism, this one being if you dont see race, you arent paying attention.) i dont get it. i dont understand why moving to being earthlings is not everyones goal. am i simple or something? seriously?
