well today was quite a success! it was definitely a trial run and it wont take much to work out the kinks... my phone is at the bottom of the river and a few other things were lost along the way...the conditions were perfect except for a slight breeze that worked against us! so we learned... that we need to shorten the trip a little, even though once you get to the Thomaston warren bridge you fly and can make it to the landing in no time...and we should go in at high tide, not to wait til shortly after....if you have any other suggestions I would love to here them... thank you all for participating, sophie and I swam the whole way, had a blast the whole time and spoke to quite a few of you! so thank you so so much, please post as many pics as you can because I no longer have a phone... and type your name on the event page so I can get a good count of how many people went today... thinking around 150-170!
