what a crappy airport (Newark) and what a truly crappy, penny pinching, money grubbing airline in United. Wow.... $75 to be put on a standby list for a flight with no seats available. Really? My seat (on the last plane out) could still be sold if they put me on a seat on an earlier plane... yet if that plane goes with the empty seat, that seat will never be sold. They have decided that $75 is the pain level that people will pay. Its short sighted, bad for the customer, and makes me real mad.
