what a whirlwind of emotions this weekend has been. I got to see an amazing group of young people perform a near perfect routine that were not rewarded with any hardware, yet who won the hearts of the audience. I also got to enjoy a near deserted pizza place with my family who were sad, exhausted, hungry and pissed (me). By the meals end, we were laughing and talking and thoroughly enjoying ourselves. Sometimes disappointment and heartache show us what is truly important in life and that is family. Support each other when sad, lift each other when low, and calm the angry when angered. I love my family beyond measure and proud to be a part of this pack of stone cold weirdos.
