A drink between the mum ~ A bump and stop and run. A bank of furnishings scooting out. A flash inside the doorway from afar. DOWN the elevator to the bottom rung. Query then, To dine alone, we two? (Intimating under the moon.) To disappear, inside and out, as one? NO. In public array. In festive sound and furry. Inside the PARKING-LOT. To drown the trial perhaps settled too soon. To hide and disappear behind the wall of sounds and lights ~ from you. The public introduction then? Of friends to friend? no just d i s a p p e a r a n c e.. (Better to have dined alone.)
