while enjoying dinner, at August Es, we met a lovely man. we got to talking, and he mentioned that his beautiful companion of more than 14 years had recently gone to heaven- the pup, Martin, was an australian shepherd. we explained to him that we have two mini aussies that we adore. the man went out to his car and came back with a book for Ellie. the childrens book, called Martin in the Narthex, was written by his pup, Martin, and illustrated by a very special little girl. just thought Id share with everyone, as the man and his pup and their book really touched my heart. amazon/dp/0940672820/ref=cm_sw_r_fa_awdo_tfNFub03PCDQ6
