while everybody else was freaking about Easy Rider,I was drawn to the soft spoken man with quiet and reserved class,who was the model for the LONE WOLF GYPSY BIKER.Those were also bad times for the Harley Davidson brand thanks to A M F. because they were trying to compete with Triumph,BSA AND BMW rather than sticking with tradition and the BIG V configuration.It did give birth to the light Sporsters as they have evolved into the excellent,dependable,responsive machines of the years after.but ya still couldnt roll a smoke while setting in the saddle.Wish I could remember more than just broke pieces with this damaged brain,I am missing parts of days,months and even years,but every now and then one of these old songs will trigger and awaken a memory or two,some of which I would be just as happy not remembering.lol
