who is an Habesh? the Abyssinians pride themselves being called Ethiopians,Ethiopiawuyan,and are willing to call themselves Amhara.The Abyssinian denomination comes from the Arab word Habechi,which signifies a mixed people,with out known geneology,a collection of people Habechi deformed by the portuguese,became Abexim,and finally became Abessin,from where writers have easily drawn the modern word Abyssinia.This sure name,attributed by the Arabist races to the Ahmara nation,contains a very Injurious sense,becouse among the orientals,the deadliest insult one can do to a person,to a people,is to say that they do not know their geneology or that they are tarnished by promiscuity!!! but im not Habesha(habechi) becouse i know who am I,im Oromo First and Proud on Oromummaa..;)!!!!
