why do we give the dead such respect? be it freshly dead or dry bones dead. we dress up and rush to bury one when we never visited them when they were dying - the grieving family is so overwhelmed by attention they end up not having time to mourn busy taking care of us visitors. we spend money we dont have on functions honouring the dead and put up monuments whilst kids left behind struggle. I say lets pay more attention to the living - check on the families after their loss to see how you can help :)
