why does religion have to be an everyday topic. i again say to you the people of a spiritual following. i have no interest in spiritual unity of souls through any man made organisation. i have no interest in eternal life because i am not aware of any human being living long enough for them to be called everlasting. in a universe which is assumed to be millions of years old by scientist and six thousand years old by some of the religious, i would say that we as human beings are only in-transit beings. we struggle to live one hundred years and after the first fifty years we are fighting for life. i do not believe in the god who will take me to heaven because i was a good person. i dont know if there is a god but i dont want to force into anyones head that god may or may not exixt. i dont see any being as a magician. i believe that everything is science. we only call things spiritual because we dont know how these things happen or come about. if the christian god reveals to man how he appears and disappears to them or how he preforms his miracles, then his actions would become a science and not magic. what i do believe is that we should make our short time here on planet earth as enjoyable as we can. find the other human beings who keep our spirits warm and walk with them as often as we can. as for life after death. i dont accept the rules set down for achieving eternal life therefore i will enjoy my short existence on planet earth and thank the universe for allowing me to pass through. as for hell and eternal fires, i will take my chances and avoid the church. i remain a free spirit just like the eagle and the bear.
