worldly attachments over the years in my christian journey i have met people who have met with God but have relics of their old lives, and sometimes i wonder they are ever going to survive in christianity {i mean with God}. i remember 1 john 2 vr 15. it says love not the world then james also said friendliness with the world is enemity with God. see we realy need to see ourself seperating ourselves from the world, you cant be attach to the world and still get a grip of jesus and what else do we do we classify our definition of worldliness, write our own scriptures which are against christ yes those assumption. see if jesus wont take away the world from you then he wont take you. although they are in the world but they are not of the world and our lives should show this. you can dress like an unbeliever and claim to possess the spirit of God, no! its either you belong to God or not you can join God with the world. and in this trying times our clothing realy potrait how people see jesus in us. oh wait have you ever after you have examine your beauty in the mirror or you are satisfied with yourself asked yourself will jesus actually wear this if he were on earth and you know what the bible says futher in 1 john 2? it says the world and everything in it will pass away but he that do the will of God abide forever more. i dont know your definition of worldliness and i am not given any but i know that in as much you are of the world, in as much jesus is not seen in, on, from you, you are going to pass away with the world. and maybe someone there just says my concience justifies me but the fact is this your concience may be dead for all i care and if the living God has it in his word that love not the world that he that loves the world have not the father, then you are a cast away and need repentance and God is readily waiting for those who will readily come to the foot of the cross and obtain mercy SHALOM!
