The verses in 1 Cor. show Paul preaching/teaching the Gospel..Surely a person wouldnt preach/teach something the dont believe in...Beside that look at the reverence Saul(Paul) has for the Gospel>>>Rom 1:16 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. .....Did Saul(Paul) repent(turn away from old lifestyle)?...Yes!..Saul stop persecuting that way and became a new Creature...Paul the servant of Christ!! ....Was Saul(Paul) baptized?...Yes!>>>Acts 22:16 16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. ...NOTE: the word calling means to invoke or entitle and the word name means authority...To invoke or entitle the authority of the Lord is to receive the Spirit and you CAN NOT receive the Spirit until then..And it must be done under the authority of the Messiah..His house!!
