wow!!Pastor John Eckhardt outlines the features of churches that started well but are gradually showing signs of cultism or at least producing members who exhibit cultic behaviours: 1.they are taught to believe more in self and thus,inadvertently, get so boastful and cocky,taking all the glory which belongs to God. 2.they are dictatorial and never tolerate different mindsets or opinions,ie they hate open mindedness which Paul taught the bereans to do. 3.They persecute you when you leave them;infact they will castigate you and may even want to kill you if possible.and they do it cleverly and quietly.when you eventually discern they will suggest that you are perhaps getting paranoid. watch out for these and many other signs and such people.bless u folks!!!
