wow okay so last nights show was definitely awesome!! Emperor X laid it down so hard, as always, and Brightside rendered that dancy guitar pop so hotly, good luck to both of them on their respective tours! The World is a Beautiful Place & I am No Longer Afraid to Die totally ripped, so dynamic and fluid, really impressive set last night. TONIGHT we have the privilege of playing with more first-rate acts: Toasted Plastic, for whom this will be their LAST SHOW EVER :-/ :-/, a really inventive and fun band, weve played countless shows with them including the very memorable one at cape town when zack played drums so hard his hand fell off; Forth Wanderers, who just put out an ~insanely good~ album; A Film In Color who will paint dark loud swaths on you until you reach nirvana, and for whom this is the first show of their tour; The Hurt Ensemble, who are on tour from rhode island and will make you rethink your whole shit; yes, friends, this will be one for the books! snowball fight at 7:10 sharp, see ya then & bring your whole krew.
