xojane/issues/can-calm-down-be-removed-from-everybodys-vocabulary I posted this before, but decided to do it again after this weekend; my emotions are not some theatrical production that can easily be silenced by you feeling superior for that brief moment. Play nice and dont demand anything of me. The heartbreaking irony of human beings is that were all constantly feeling things, yet were usually flippant about others’ feelings. Or at least we don’t want to listen to others express their feelings or help them deal with any difficulty they may be having. We forget to how to be empathetic. We forget that whatever theyre currently dealing with is legitimate simply because its happening to them.
