yesterday my mum was taken into hospital, she was incoherent and unable to tell where she was or the year, she had an abcess on the back of her knee which overnight had turned into the flesh eating disease and infection..her kidneys have now shut down, she has had and op to drain the abcess and remove alot of infected tissue, but have said dialysis is too dangerous for her, all we can do now is wait, she is in icu and in critical condition.....is very hard being all the way down in Invercargill...... :(
