yesterday was 6 month post transplant labs, x-rays, lung function test and lung biopsy. got results today. Biopsy was negative-no rejection, infection, inflammation so the cut down a little on my steroids (now maybe Ill loose these man boobs). Labs were all good, my FEV1 ( which shows how much air you blow out in a certain amount of time) before surgery my best was 0.94 today was 3.06 they say well above average for 6 month transplant. The reflux surgery is on hold for 6 months. Best news is now I can have STEAK cooked medium!!!! Its steak time. Now little bad news Ive been having major pain lower back and hips test show changes since surgery little softening of the bones which is symptom of the CF so gave me some new medication and they do a full bone scan at 1 year anniversary which is in June and there will be a party
