USE WISDOM Please read and study Ephesians 5:15-23 before you go ahead to the writing below. I honestly have a problem with certain preachers who do not apply wisdom when it comes to the times (hours) of the services in the churches they oversee. There is a lot of wrecked marriages and dysfunctional families here in Botswana just because of church services that take almost the whole day and some which are held almost everyday of the week. I do not see any good example here to the world when you do things exactly the way they do them even worse and expect to win them for Christ. God is not the God of confusion but of order! There is a time for everything. The Holy Bible says, Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (3 John 1:2) While you are receiving people at your church, know that they have to be responsible out there and glorify the living word of God. Not long ago I was called to attend a counselling session of a couple who had a misunderstanding, only to find a frustrated husband who hates the church and the pastors just because the wife is not doing her home duties because she spends almost twelve hours at a single church service. I am so concerned about this. The enemy is leading many servants of God into destroying Godly marriages and families. Please be careful least you end up doing things at the command of the enemy. Advice to married couples: Do good things together!
