yielding to God 2 Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep and guard you on the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.Give heed to Him, listen to and obey His voice; be not rebellious before Him or provoke Him, for He will not pardon your transgression; for My Name is in Him.( Exodus 23v 20-21) God never intends us to walk alone in this life. He says in his word he never leaves nor forsakes us. To the house of Israel he send a mighty angel ahead of them to ensure that they would prevail in their journey. Their success was guaranteed only if the house would give heed and obey his voice(the angel). In our time the Bible says the unlimited, immeasurable, surpassing greatness power of God works in and for us. This power is the power of the Holy Spirit and in our walk as believers we can only be successful when we listen to the instructions of the Holy Spirit. Its amazing that the angel sent for the success of Israel had feelings and could be offended. This is also a true nature of the Holy Spirit ,who is a person and can be offended.The Bible says he can be grieved and though he has great authority he wants us to yield to him without force. It is also true that we have received great promises ,ability,healings and inheritance from the Father through the Lord, yet not one of them can manifest without the Holy Spirit; he is the one who shows us all the things of Christ (he is the Spirit of wisdom, knowledge,might, understanding,counsel,fear of the Lord) and by yielding to his voice and word we allow him to express himself.
