yknow, periodically your correspondent does somethin right, an the universe decides to pat him on the head... married to a good woman who puts up with all my forms of insanity... have friends who love me... have friends who make good things to eat, and this is the head-pat were talkin about today. i got friends who bake, who make jelly, who make candy... and this morning, im eatin breafas, chowing on some goddamn divine rum cake, courtesy of Toni Steger. moist (with RUM!), flavorful (with RUM!), got pecans in it (and RUM!)... yknow, startin off the day with a little rum cake (dont lemme bullshit ya, i cut myself a big ol slice) is a pretty good thing.
