...you remember the strip mall with Toy World. We used to go into the drug store next door after grade school at St. Johns and buy candy on our walk home. Back then you used to have to live a certain distance to ride the bus and we were just under that. Figures! One time they had a contest to win a football autographed by one of the Packers. I was young enough to not know what a typical score would be, so I took out one of the slips to get an approximate idea, returned that slip, and then guessed at the score. Surprisingly, I was one of two winners. We both met the player at Guarantee Bank and got autographed footballs. I remember how huge the guys hand was with the huge ring on it, but cant remember if it was Bart Starr, or someone else. :( Must have been around 1968...? That ball would be worth something today!
