you see me sharing things sometimes about bullies. sometimes they are cops, this clip is being spread around as if these cops did something wrong. in my opinion, they did a text book take down and got control immediately in the most effective and safe manner as possible. the choke wasnt applied in the most effective manner but it worked. as soon as he went down, they cuffed him and stopped being physical. its a shame he died but these guys did nothing wrong here at all. as a prison guard i had to take down guys this big quiet a few times and the choke hold is the safest and quickest method to get it done. when an officer says put your hands behind your back its over at that point, anything you do besides putting your hands behind your back is resisting arrest, just fn do it and let the judge figure it out. there is zero reason for a cop to ever throw a punch or kick, those are fighting moves and are not needed when subduing an arrestee, that is excessive force unless he or she is fighting off a lot of people and are swinging to get room to move. these guys did not throw in any extra punishment at all. i say they did a fine job in this case and shouldnt be ridiculed for it.
