youtu.be/sLhkZxOMxM0 Three years ago on this day Alix and I welcomed Avery Grace into this world. Its been three years of learning how to be a dad, learning how to still be a good husband while being a new parent, being constantly amazed and inspired by Averys development, intelligence and creativity, and being thankful everyday--even on the hard ones--that this little girl is in my life. Its been the most difficult and also the most rewarding three years of my life. I still feel like I fail often, but thats part of growing. One thing I do know is that Avery will grow up always knowing that shes loved more than words can say. Such a huge thank you to Lane Proffitt Heinsch for our beautiful birth story. Alix and I layed in bed watching it this morning and it still brings tears to our eyes.
