youtube/watch?v=ibvIrWle_yI With such a spotlight on ALS all over social media with the Ice Bucket Challenge i thought this would be a great story to share.. I myself didnt truly understand the severity of the disease until i saw this segment about Patrick Grange on ESPN this morning which nearly brought me to tears. He was a gifted Young Soccer player who died of ALS at only 29 years old. Seeing how this Disease stripped him of all motor skills and slowly imprisoned him within his own body is heartbreaking.. A once healthy , fit, and talented young man with a passion for soccer now confined to a wheel chair barely able to make out words. I think as young people we take our health and the simple ability to walk , talk, and play the sports we love for granted. Every day we wake up is a blessing. Unfortunately there is no cure for ALS at the moment but by generous donations i hope they do find a cure to help ALS patients in the near future. I will be donating myself & you all can donate too @ als.ca . RIP Patrick Grange
