أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم {يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا يَسْخَرْ قَوْمٌ مِّن قَوْمٍ عَسَىٰ أَن يَكُونُوا خَيْرًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا نِسَاءٌ مِّن نِّسَاءٍ عَسَىٰ أَن يَكُنَّ خَيْرًا مِّنْهُنَّ وَلَا تَلْمِزُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ وَلَا تَنَابَزُوا بِالْأَلْقَابِ بِئْسَ الِاسْمُ الْفُسُوقُ بَعْدَ الْإِيمَانِ وَمَن لَّمْ يَتُبْ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ} سورة الحجرات - الآية 11. O you who have believed, do not mock others or make fun of others (whether men mocking men or women mocking women) in order to humuliate, ridicule or insult them as it might turn out that the person(s) who was (were) insulted is (are) better than the person(s) who insulted them (him/her). Do not defame or disgrace one another and do not call each other names. It is the worst thing to call someone a name that he/she does not like especially after becoming a believer (or repenting of a sin). And those who do not repent (after doing such acts) are indeed unfair. Holy Quran. Chapter 49. Al-Hujurat (The rooms). Verse 11.
