الوظيفة : Director of Development/auc الراتب / الأجر : في المقابلة مكان العمل : القاهرة ،مصر تفاصيل الوظيفة : Purpose: The Director of Development is responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major gifts in support of the University’s strategic plan and fundraising priories. Reporting directly to the vice president for institutional advancement, the director of development is instrumental in the planning and execution of AUC’s 100th anniversary campaign. As a member of the senior institutional advancement team, the jobholder helps shape fundraising strategy, provides guidance and support to academic schools and ensures school fundraising activities are aligned with the University’s strategy and funding prioritie: • Manage a major gift portfolio of 125-150 active major gift prospects • Complete 130 prospect visits, write detailed and timely reports on each contact • Identify and cultivate major gifts prospects; recommend and implement cultivation and solicitation strategies of individual prospects, working with administration, faculty and volunteers as appropriate; meet with prospects and volunteers, traveling as necessary • Participate in all aspects of the gift cycle • Initiate contacts with potential leadership and major gift donors • Move potential donors in an appropriate and timely fashion toward solicitation and closure • Make solicitations when appropriate • Maintain stewardship contacts with donors; adhere to the highest ethical standards; demonstrate empathetic disposition, and perseverance; reflect optimistic and positive attitude, and convey sensitivity to needs of the donors • Develop and maintain shared University funding priorities document to ensure fundraising strategies are aligned with the University’s goals • Direct research requests and obtain information on key University alumni, parents, and friends to qualify interest and giving potential • Maintain knowledge of current tax laws, investments and planned giving opportunities; use knowledge in prospect cultivation and solicitation as appropriate • Cultivate and present proposals to corporate prospects as requested • Write or assist in drafting proposals, newsletters, brochures, and other materials as necessary; assist with publicity arrangements on important gifts, programs, accomplishments or events • Develop, evaluate and refine plans and timetables for regional, departmental or theme assignments; assist with planning and/or directing cultivation events or programs • In collaboration with other members of the IA senior leadership team, act as adviser to senior administration providing leadership in assisting in the development of short-term and long-term strategic plans and budgets to support goals المهارات : Evidence of self-motivation and the ability to work effectively both individually and in teams with high personal standards and commitment to excellence. • Ability to interact and effectively communicate with a wide array of constituents exhibiting institution’s mission and goals. • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously, a commitment to professional development and a track record of effectiveness and delivery on commitments. • Proven ability in developing and managing effective relationships across all levels and functional areas of an organization; ability to collaborate and influence at a high level. • Strong strategic planning and project management skills necessary to set and evaluate progress against goals, develop plans & timelines, establish policies & procedures, and manage data to meet tight deadlines while maintaining good relations with colleagues. • Ability to respond quickly to changing business needs and priorities; ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical implementation. • Facility with business analytics and intelligence to understand past performance and develop new insights to drive business strategy. • An engaging, collaborative and confident communication style, effective with both individuals and groups, coupled with excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. • Strong internal (cross-functional partners, senior administration, IA team members, etc.) and external (key University constituents) customer focus with an emphasis on being proactive and not reactive. • Fluency in written & spoken English. • Knowledge of MS Office and Fund-Al. • Highly collaborative and productive with the ability to turn strategy into action. • Demonstrates excellent judgment and effectiveness in problem-solving الإيميل : wazefa100@gmail
