رَبَّنَا وَلاَ تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لاَ طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا أَنتَ مَوْلاَنَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ صدق الله العظيم [البقرة/286] Oh GOD what can we do about israel? Could we NEGLECT our HUMANITY just because they have LOST theirs long LONG TIME ago? Could we stop drawing a clear line between MILITARY and INNOCENT CIVILIANS? Could we FORGET all about our RELIGIOUS TEACHINGS and do that? Why is it becoming more and more VAGUE now whats RIGHT and whats WRONG? And WHO is WHO to DECIDE whom to KILL and who shall LIVE? Could we just GO across the BORDERS and START KILLING PEOPLE? Could this be the ANSWER? Could it be any ANSWER to any QUESTION? What could we do? For some people I have to ask: What good could your foul language bring to you or bring to those dying out there in Ghaza and across Palestine? What else could you do beside swearing on facebook and snoring during your angry conversations on cafés sitting with your friends talking about your refusal and repudiation of their brutality, animality and uncivilised conduct !? The unfortunate thing is not that we dont know an answer, on the contrary, the unfortunate thing is that we know exactly what most people -including ourselves- will do: 1. Get really upset about all those who died/are dying/are going to die in Ghaza !! 2. Have a couple of angry conversations about it either on social media or somewhere else ! 3. Share a couple of videos -just like this one- and bloody photos -as if the whole world doesnt know about this never ending massacre and just needed one more photo to make sure its happening for real !! 4. With a troubled mind, soul, and heart you will pray to GOD to end all of this with a miracle of some kind; the kind that you dont need to do anything about or move a muscle to bring about that change you want to see in the world !! 5. Forget all about it in a couple weeks, if not days, and if not hours. And in the funny world we are living in nowadays, some people will just skip the list all the way down to number 5. FORGET ALL ABOUT IT !! PLEASE people, if/when you know some way to help the case DONT HESITATE to SHARE what you have, let it be an AWARENESS channel of COMMUNICATION, a DONATION BANK ACCOUNT -whether for MEDICAL AID or any other kind of AID- or anything that might help. Finally, I would like to ask a question, and I am really looking for some serious answers: What do you think about donations related to arming and aiding the unarmed civilians in Palestine, or those trying to help/protect them -introducing some balance into that messed up equation?
