عملت جسور خلال الشهر الماضي ضمن برنامجها في لبنان على مساعدة ما يقارب 80 طفل سوري للالتحاق بالمدارس اللبنانية الرسمية وسنطلق قريباً برنامج مخصص لدعم هؤلاء الطلاب لتقديم دعم إضافي لهم لضمان نجاحهم دراسياً، كما عملت جسور أيضاً على تأمين المعلومات المتعلقة بالالتحاق بالمدارس اللبنانية ونشرها إلى عدد كبير من العائلات السورية في لبنان خلال عيد الأضحى المبارك، أقامت جسور فعالية للأطفال السوريين شارك بها 120 طفل وقام بتنظيمها عدة متطوعين من عدة دول، ضمت الفعالية العديد من النشاطات الترفيهية والمسابقات والهدايا لكافة الأطفال المشاركين قام الأطفال المشاركين ببرنامج جسور خلال فصل الصيف بتصميم رزنامة خاصة بهم حيث تتضمن رسوم للأطفال تمثل شهور السنة، ستقوم جسور ببيعها في عدة دول حول العالم حيث سيعود ريع هذه الرزنامات لدعم تعليم الأطفال السوريين في لبنان وسنقوم من خلالها بالتعريف عن نشاط جسور للأطفال السوريين، كما تم تنظيم ورشة عمل في مؤتمر جسور العالمي الثاني في لندن ناقش فيها المشاركين كيفية تطوير البرنامج وتوسيعه للوصول إلى أكبر عدد ممكن من الأطفال السوريين في لبنان، وتم طرح العديد من الأفكار المميزة من قبل مختصين من عدة دول سنعمل على تنفيذها تباعاً تعمل جسور حالياً على تعليم 80 طفل سوري آخر لم يتاح لهم فرصة الالتحاق بالمدارس الرسمية لتزويدهم بمهارات القراءة والكتابة والرياضيات واللغة الإنكليزية بالإضافة إلى عدة أنشطة ترفيهية لهم، وسنبدأ الأسبوع القادم برنامج جديد مخصص للشباب السوريين حول مهارات تأسيس المشاريع وكيفية كتابة السيرة الذاتية ومقابلات العمل وانكليزية الأعمال ومهارات القيادة لمساعدتهم للحصول على وظيفة أو تأسيس مشاريع خاصة بهم للتطوع في برنامج جسور يمكنكم تعبئة الاستمارة التالية jusoor-sy.org/programs/academic-programs/refugee-education-program/volunteer-form لمزيد من المعلومات حول البرنامج يرجى التواصل معنا عبر البريد التالي [email protected] Over the past month, Jusoor has been working with Syrian refugee families and local schools to enroll children from our summer program in the Lebanese school system. We are very proud to report that 80 children have already been successfully enrolled through our work, we will continue to work with those children to provide after school support and we will continue to provide uplifting and fun activities for them so they continue to have an outlet to come and play. Jusoor also worked to get critical information to Syrian families on how to enroll their children in local schools and we worked to prepare our students for placement tests. We also worked with the Ministry of Education to identify which schools had capacity and brought our students to these schools to take placement exams. During Adha Eid, Jusoor volunteers organized a full day event for about 120 children, the event was full of fun activities and games, and each kid received a gifts pack from the volunteers and clothes for winter. In summer, the children worked on designing a calendar for Jusoor, the calendars include the best 12 drawings represent the 12 months of the year and they will be sold in different countries around the world to spread the word about Jusoor efforts for children and to raise funds for our refugee program, also, a workshop was organized in Jusoors second annual conference in London to discuss how we can develop and scale up the refugee program, great ideas were presented and shared, and we will follow up on the ideas suggested to develop the program further.
