लक्ष्मी लंका दोघी भगिनी, उभय उपजल्या या जलधितूनी या लंकेचे दासीपद तरी, कमला घेईल का ?....there is superlative pride in these lines Ga Di Madgulkar was a poet who with his pen recreated a Ramayana with Sudhir Phadke lending voice and music and for that he is immortal...each of his stanzas bring alive the characters in all their glory and vivid personas... Here it is another gem from him on the same lines..posed by Vasant Desai...and who else could have essayed the arrogant voice of Ravana a noted Rudra Veena exponent , singer and scholar other than Pt.
