ਆਸਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ आसा महला ५ ॥ Āsā mėhlā 5. Aasaa, Fifth Mehl: ਤੁਝ ਬਿਨੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਮੈ ਦੂਜਾ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਮਾਹੀ ॥ तुझ बिनु अवरु नाही मै दूजा तूं मेरे मन माही ॥ Ŧujẖ bin avar nāhī mai ḏūjā ṯūʼn mere man māhī. Without You, there is no other for me; You alone are in my mind. ਤੂੰ ਸਾਜਨੁ ਸੰਗੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਕਾਹੇ ਜੀਅ ਡਰਾਹੀ ॥੧॥ तूं साजनु संगी प्रभु मेरा काहे जीअ डराही ॥१॥ Ŧūʼn sājan sangī parabẖ merā kāhe jī▫a darāhī. ||1|| You are my Friend and Companion, God; why should my soul be afraid? ||1|| ਤੁਮਰੀ ਓਟ ਤੁਮਾਰੀ ਆਸਾ ॥ तुमरी ओट तुमारी आसा ॥ Ŧumrī ot ṯumārī āsā. You are my support, You are my hope. ਬੈਠਤ ਊਠਤ ਸੋਵਤ ਜਾਗਤ ਵਿਸਰੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਸ ਗਿਰਾਸਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ बैठत ऊठत सोवत जागत विसरु नाही तूं सास गिरासा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Baiṯẖaṯ ūṯẖaṯ sovaṯ jāgaṯ visar nāhī ṯūʼn sās girāsā. ||1|| rahā▫o. While sitting down or standing up, while sleeping or waking, with every breath and morsel of food, I never forget You. ||1||Pause|| ਰਾਖੁ ਰਾਖੁ ਸਰਣਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅਪਨੀ ਅਗਨਿ ਸਾਗਰ ਵਿਕਰਾਲਾ ॥ राखु राखु सरणि प्रभ अपनी अगनि सागर विकराला ॥ Rākẖ rākẖ saraṇ parabẖ apnī agan sāgar vikrālā. Protect me, please protect me, O God; I have come to Your Sanctuary; the ocean of fire is so horrible. ਨਾਨਕ ਕੇ ਸੁਖਦਾਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਹਮ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਬਾਲ ਗੁਪਾਲਾ ॥੨॥੩੦॥ नानक के सुखदाते सतिगुर हम तुमरे बाल गुपाला ॥२॥३०॥ Nānak ke sukẖ▫ḏāṯe saṯgur ham ṯumre bāl gupālā. ||2||30|| The True Guru is the Giver of peace to Nanak; I am Your child, O Lord of the World. ||2||30||
